Not much going on glassing and sanding, sanding, sanding, and more sanding.

I'm going to start releasing the stations and ribs. These are v1. What i used to get the build going.
I'm still working on the full sheet, top and side profiles and a exploded view of the model.
Please keep in mind the wing structure may be all wrong for you pros.

It was my first wing of this nature, never built one let alone cad'd one.
I simply wanted my washout! all my other attempts seem to get sanded out.
Please remember the v1 ribs are missing the sheeting thickness

I got to hand it to ll the guys building molds and so forth, any sort of glass work one has to have a passion for the hobby.
I just cant imagine the amount of prep work that goes into molds.

D_Fast, I take it B_rad71 is you Bro that you've mentioned earlier.
Typical brother if it is .

Thanks for those PDFs. I'll work on shifting the duct up some to accommodate the retracts in the belly. I saw you were hunting for 15mm clearance instead of the larger 22mm standard retract.

I got to say you are much lighter in your glass technique than my attempts. I guess I just need to sand and sand and sand even more

Looking forward to first the maiden.

My F-86F was my first go round with glass work. I think it took close to 6hrs to lay-up the fuse. Non-stop!
Some did ask why I didn't go with the full blown female molds.
D_FAST I think you know now, why most people don't!

One thing for sure, you learn what not to do the next time!

I do get a kick when some newbe says he's going to whip up a plug and make a mold. They just don't have a clue!
