Paraphrase/Electraphase in production again
The Paraphrase HLG kit is in production again. It has been updated to include the "Electraphase" option for ALES/Electric operation.
The first batch of kits are now available. Here is a summary of the kit: Full size rolled plans. Laser cut ribs, fuselage sides, sheer webs, ply wingtip joiners, bulkheads, Leading edge templates. All stick wood. Wooden canopy and noseblock. Aluminum tube package (for full flying elevator). Small wood parts package. 1/64 ply fuselage doublers. 1/16 plywood fuselage floor. 12 page instructions. Parts list. The kit can be built as a pure HLG or as ALES electric. (parts for both included) Mine has a 12amp outrunner, 450ma lipo, 20 amp ESC and a 7x4 prop. It pulls 10 amps and climbs to 150 meters in 25 seconds. With a 7x5 or 8x4 prop it makes 200 meters in 30 seconds. Items required to complete the kit: (2) Sullivan .032 flexible pushrod cables. covering, glue, radio. optional: motor, lipo, ESC, prop.
