I like where you are taking this JoergSH be really cool if we can get revo running with gps for ~$30
That is just possible if you put the I/O pins on the bottom layer, then the connectors would be downwards...if it's better to you that way it's your choice.

Adding this circuit to the board will increase its size and I can't increase it much more... So you can add one of those above if you want.
it does not work via telemetry

and is already included in NAZE32. -> http://code.google.com/p/afrodevices/downloads/list

in lilvinz created wiki:
"discoveryf3 does not (yet) support telemetry on uart because of the missing USB vsense"

better where?

F3 Discovery:
. cortex M4
. L3GD20, ST MEMs motion sensor, 3-axis digital output gyroscope
+ LSM303DLHC, ST MEMs system-in-package featuring a 3D digital linear acceleration sensor and a 3D digital magnetic sensor
=9 DOF vs 6DOF of NAZE32
. the rest is configurable and can be added
. price ~12$ !!!

be carefull
the f3 on the board is an engineering sample.
no production run yet.

You want someone to port the CC3D code to the Naze?
Now that OP opened their license - why not produce a batch and offer them at costs, JUERGEN?

You could do it the "kickstarter style" on a pre-order base.
Even if you don't take cash up front you could lower your personal risk...

what is most CC3D better than on Naze32?
CC3D is a primitive circuit, MPU + CPU

CC3D has not even GPS.
and other sensors, one searches in vain.

here is the Open Pilot gps http://store.openpilot.org/openpilot...ot-v8-gps.html

This is the one I have ordered http://rctimer.com/index.php?gOo=goo...wt&goodsid=763

There was one at goodluckbuy for $19 but it's gone now, the one from rctimer should work but no guarantees.

I ordered the openpilot V8 GPs 2 weeks ago when it was IN STOCK to see what all the fancy claims really mean in practice, I am in Australia which is where it ships from, a week later [real laid back shipping] it said shipped, a week later it has not arrived, I am guessing op shipped means we are almost seriously contemplating walking down to the post office, maybe!

The Crius CN-06 V2 works just fine as a GPS 5Hz update is all you can get out of it, but Open Pilot right now can only use it to display your position on a map, nothing else. The uBlox software for setting these things up is excellent.

I fail to see why all you guys are so enthusiastic about the F3, just a few measly dollars saved but in the end it will be nothing like the Revo, wrong CPU, wrong sensors etc. The F4Discovery is much closer, the right CPU for Revo and an MPU6050 costs peanuts, I simply fail to understand this over the top F3 enthusiasm, maybe someone can enlighten me.

EDIT: The open pilot documentation does say that CN-06 has been tested with op and works.
