I am still working on the soldered print board that I am going to use to attach the F3discovery to my quadcopter. So instead I used some balsa wood and female jumper wires to temporarily mount the board. Below is a video of my first flight in the park. This is with basic settings and I think there is a lot to improve but nevertheless it's looking good.

The third picture is my board with the PWM inputs soldered to it. Unfortunately the solid core wire that I ordered seemed a bit to rigid for this job and the isolation of the white in the picture melts at a low temperature. Therefore it is taken more time for me than i anticipated on. Seeing the results of my first flight I think I am going to order myself some PCB boards from oshpark or seeedstudio. That way there won't be any soldering the wires left. Maybe this is going to be interesting for more people? |
