Impressive weight! 3 grams lighter than me with a bigger battery and heavier film. My building techniques need a diet! Too much glue I assume. Do you use CA or something else for assembly?

Mit, Where on the wing will the CG be? I have this and the apache to maiden on Friday. If mine flys like yours it will be a hit with the 3d guys. Mine is 32 grams w/o batt so will be about the same as Petes.

Total build with UHU POR including film attachment.

The lack of 3M77 and highlighter colored airframe made for a significant weight savings. Also much of the UHU POR will evporate.

Also by replacing the dual ailirons with one 1.7 gram HK servo a few grains were saved.

Down side, the highlighter seems UV sensitive. I will use permanant markers next time.

The battery weight may be less because its a Hobby King Nano.It seems smaller than the equivalent Hyperion.

Do you dilute the POR for brushing on for the film?

Sharpies are UV sensitive too. Ask me how I know <grin>. Mine is silver sharpie except where it is silver RA microlite.

Thanks Adam.

I hope to make the NEAT indoor next year and show you my version of your designs.

The 120% Yak is still my favorite indoor plane.

Flew the Cub at the Saturday night indoor.

Flew great,nice response but stable.

Few degress right thrust and a couple down thrust.

Will increase elevator throw so I can better control a hover.

Nice flying and looking plane.

I think I need a little more down thrust. When I try to hover it falls on it's back. Agreed?

Pete,

Those are the landing gear fairings, if you decide to put them on.
