How is it for heat dissipation? And where did you locate it?
And how long are the battery leads?

Thanks.

Yep 120

Cooler,
I believe your question was directed to mjnco and his slick F-16 but here is my mb339 setup. The plane had lots of flights with a turnigy 100 hv and 12s. In the middle of a flight, a trail of smoke was from a burning esc. I have learned to protect the foam from flaming escs' So the plane survived and I installed the YEP 120. The fan/motor was fine. The esc is exposed flush in the inlet duct so it is close to the batteries. I had extra caps in the bat leads but removed them because the YEP antispark function would be gone. I ran 3kw tests with no air flow on the yep and it just doesnt want to get hot But, it was easy to leave it in the duct.

Thank you Tom, answered my questions. Just trying to save a buck, and as much as I like like a CC 120HV, this is considerably less expensive. I will be using a JF90/Het 1200Kv 12s. From what I have seen they are pretty easy on, amps, somewhere between 90A-105A . Mounting it in the ducts won't be a problem, but I do have to make them first!
