Darth AS350 for Blade 300x
Thought I would share photos of my AS350.
A Darth micro heli polystyrene body. Blade 300x mechanics.
The Blade 300x mechanics fit quite nicely. The only minor mod was to cut
a hole for the case of the aileron servo. The tail section had to be cut off and
then attached with screws. Seems to balance right on by just moving the battery
forward on the mount. I had to rotate the servo down and re-align the pushrod for
the tail rotor. Just finished today and it is too windy to fly. Will get a video later.

Well done. Looks very good. Darthdrk makes a very nice body kit for a number of heli's that are not normally found for the 300/450. I had one of his Hughes 500 bodies that I could never get around to mounting and eventually dropped the 450 build and passed it on to another fellow to finish it. The quality is very high for a vacuformed shell and when finished, rivals some glass body kits I have seen. A three blade head would really finish it off and maybe the ESky head might be found but I am not sure that it will fit the shaft of the 300. Take care.

Is this a Darth fuselage made for a 300 class heli? Did you have to apply a bit of epoxy around the tail area to keep the fuselage tail solid? You did an excellent job, I think I may have just found myself another scale project to do, come December. Thanks
