Feedback
At one time I railed against a buyer not giving feedback. I have been to some meetings lately and am now reformed and have changed my ways. Feedback works both ways, duh
. I recently sold a plane for parts basicly but could have very well been easily fixed. Guy buys it and sends me a PM telling me "Wow, super fast shipping, as discribed and It was easy to fix quickly and thank's". Zero feedback from him even after 3 Nice easy request for some even after sending him the (www.rcgroups.com) stuff you have to enter to prove the deal. One month, nothin. Is this a good type of trader to sell to? Dave

I get bummed about that also, and usually have given more than I get,but that fluctuates.....
I want to increase mine also, and I feel that feedback is the one final 'thank you' for a good deal. |

A poster above stated that the buyer's feedback was probably low...it was, 1...why wouldn't he want a 2?...I would be glad to give it to him IF he gave me a honest one, I believe this is an integral part of the deal on this kind of site, I won't but did consider giving him a neutral one because his part of the deal was not completed. But, the firestorm it would most likely create would not be good either way for both parties. I will never sell him anything again and I have parts he needs or he can order them from HK who are and will stay out of stock...

, but if I look at my rating it looks like the sellers have forgotten about me more often![]() It can be hard to keep track, because unlike on ebay there is no record on here that a transaction has taken place. So you have to search for the F/S thread in order to leave feedback. Pat MacKenzie |

When mention "honest one", feedback, it reveals to me about your higher integrity and the ways you live your life zeezee.
Yes, I hear you Pat. Your ratio is on the generous side. More important, you contributions and sharing with other members around the world that you have done for a decade, on at least here on RCG. More likely at least most of your life. Jared |

I guess when your feedback gets to a certain number you don't loose as much sleep over it as you did in the beginning, after all...I would bet that if a negative transaction occured the other party would go out of their way to give that rating, so with that in mind a history of positive ratings is comforting enough. Personally, I always leave a rating and let the other person know that I left it and ask politely that they reciprocate. This is a topic that has been brought up many times in the forum. I would bet that at least 20% of a member's transactions receive no rating.
