Caution!

When you are panning across the map you can very easily, accidentally pick up a marker and move it. I'm sure that's how mine was moved to the next town over by someone. So be careful guys when moving around in the map... and to everyone else, occasionally check to see if your marker is where it's suppose to be.

I see that a lot of guys are placing markers for flying fields. I think the intent was to mark pilots, not fields, right? We want to see where the people are.

Yes, that was the intent as I read it. The problem for me is with our foster license we are not supposed to 'advertise' where we live online (gotta love the government, not that 30 sec on google couldn't find me.) Once we are done with the state and our adoptions are finalized I will to put the marker on my house. How about this, I will place it 'near' my house but not on my house.

Exactly. No need to put the marker right on your house. Just the general area, or city center, or part of the state, or whatever...

My flying field is right around the corner from my home. I didn't want to mark the house itself.

My marker is on my local park where I fly. Put your marker "Close" to your house. The purpose of this was to let people see where everyone is at. My marker a block from my house gets that done just fine.

Thanks everyone for participating. Cool to see the map grow soo fast.

Was about the put the warning about accidently moving markers as well. I accidently moved someones, but hopefully I fixed it (I think I clicked back, or not save or something similar). I did just by trying to move around the map, so easy to do

I also didn't put it on my house, just close by. I think its wise to be a bit careful of these things. Good to see I'm now not the only dot in the southern hemisphere!.

Just change your name to Kiu Hing Road... That will be easier.
