Just supersized the last batch of pictures, really like the realistic weathering. Its not too much, just gives some ware and tear, used look to the boat. Nice job Jeff.

Jeff the fifty cal you will make will be much better than what would have come from the supplier. You have done a fantastic job on the weathering and paint work. It really brings the model to life. The new owner will very pleased.

Jeff you do such a fantastic job on the paint and weathering. How about a tutorial on how this is done. I know I could learn a lot. I bet you would have a lot of folks following along. I need all the help I can get.

This is a black wash procedure that I like, there are many different ways on the web just look up "model washing" and you can read forever.

To get the right mixture which will make or break the look you want, I use a few drops of ink in the spray bottle and yes it don't take allot and try it out on something other than the model add more ink if you want it darker or more visible. But a little goes along way!

Oh you can use paint instead of ink, I ran out of the paint and am trying the ink now which is working great.
