Im going to do these in steps to not confuse anyone, so this is the edges highlighting which should be done last after all painting and washing is done.
With this use a stiff brush and I like the water base paints so you can remove easy any overkills.

This is a black wash procedure that I like, there are many different ways on the web just look up "model washing" and you can read forever.
To get the right mixture which will make or break the look you want, I use a few drops of ink in the spray bottle and yes it don't take allot and try it out on something other than the model add more ink if you want it darker or more visible. But a little goes along way! Oh you can use paint instead of ink, I ran out of the paint and am trying the ink now which is working great.
