Superclean work, great use of wood and plastic, the recessed handles do look correct.

Looks good. I was thinking just fitting a full false deck/hatch peice over the hatch and no one would know the difference since it would be minimal difference between the forward cockpit helm area. Either way this is a great looking build.
I know it was a crew modification in the feild ( just in case some one was to ask.....)

I was talking with a friend of mine that served on them and he says that there was a bit of crew modifications done to them in the field, just like the WWII PT boats. IMHO you are doing an excellent job on this build also.

Watching this with interest as I have a 1/12 sacle hull waiting to be turned into (hopefully) a model of half this standard. This will be my first attempt at an RC boat so I'm getting some great info from here. Thanks for Shareing.

Getting close to be done, still have to scratch build the rear 50 cal that Frank shorted us on and wont send me one, he says he's done, people want to much from him? He could at least fill the orders that have already been paid for!!
But that is that!
Ill just make my own!

The top cover rack is removable for any repairs or changes from the owner.
