Looks good, but have a question about aft hatch. Are you going to modifify that area to be more scale or leave it as is? The reason for asking is that the deck was flush and there were 2 hatches over the pump drives with recessed handles there with the muffler covers along the sides.

Ya I know but I wanted to be able to have access to the jet pumps and rudder servo for any maintenance and still keep water out of hull if it should splash over the sides in rough water, so it has a raised sides and cover to keep water out.

I do still have to make up muffler covers for the sides that will help to look right!

Thanks for your input Keith it does help with which way to take things but I think this is all I got for this cover to be water tight and not make the boat to heavy.

You could also use a false deck attached to the cover to make it look better. On mine, I just made the whole aft end behind the cabin area removable for access, and installed a bilge pump from battlers connection if I get any water in it. Works for me anyway.

Yes there is, but most of the weight is foreward except for the motors. The yellow thing is a fuel pump that pumps cooling water around the motors and across the ESC's. The batteries fit under the cabin.
