Would love to try Tarot firmware ... Some say it fixes the tail wag ...
Have you tried this thread? There is a lot of good information there which is applicable for both the CopterX and the Tarot. With a bit of tweaking, the CopterX may work for you yet!

Seen it .. I have the cyclic sorted and working .. The tail wont hold well .

Its gone from waging to waffling [ sort of waffles or wanders a little - like it was lose ] , I have a mems 250 that holds the tail really well on another heli , like it was chained to a rock ...

But this one is lose , Ive put in a lot of time with the CX3x1000 , through some horrendous wind , and I havent crashed yet ..

anyhow , I read that for some , flashing solved there tail problems ...

So Im wondering if there is a flash guide .. So far this gyro has resisted all attempts at flashing .

It's a mechanical problem, let me guess, it's a 450pro clone, right?

That's because you're looking at the wrong thing. I'm sure your tail rotor is fine. What you need to look for is the tail slider rocking side to side. If there is ANY play in the tail slider, you have too much play.

Im looking at it , and did a rebuild this morning , halved the play in the slider [ rocking from side to side ] I have a dual push tail rotor , Zero Play ! . so may swap out the tail rotor assembly .

If that all it takes , hmmmmm . Anyhow , will persevere !

If you have dual slider, then maybe it's not the slider. Anyway, usually a gyro can only cause wag, if you get bounce instead of wag, it's pretty much a sure sign that you have excess mechanical play.

I have a dual push as a spare ! CopterX 450 kit is still stock except I rebuilt the the slider assembly .. If this does not work , I will swap in the dual push tail rotor assembly .
