What prop fo this combo? (razor 400 etc)

My Switchback
3 cell etech 1200's
GWS C GB
Razor 400.

APC SF 10x7?

I am just switching to the Lipolys and want advice lest I fry some expensive batteries, what amps am I shooting for and how shall I prop it? (i prefer apc sf)

The factory is comfortable with suggesting a maximum continuous draw of 7.5c from these cells... That would be 9A for the 1200's I have pushed them harder then that for short bursts up to 12A ~10sec.... That RZ-400 will be happiest ~ 10A peak power... you could prop for 10A and just use a little caution with the left stick - You won't be lacking for power so that shouldn't be an issue.

No problem David! I'd probably go with the 9x7 or 10x4.7. The 10x8 is pushing the cells at WOT, but it's possible you wouldn't need WOT much so it might work too. I'd start with the other props initially and see how it goes though.

Those are static thrust numbers, so the higher pitch props (9x7 and 10x8) were likely stalled and would generate more thrust in the air.
