I posted a couple screenshots a few post back in this thread .. however I am still in testing..

It's a complete rewrite of the current firmware aimed towards racing .. so the main work is in the dynamic waypoint management as well data storage and sync to the GS + GS Software + Configuration Tools ...

The basics such as Alt/Hdg/Spd/Home Arrow, etc are already fully implemented - so it's easy for me to create trunk that only displays that information.

GPS is connected via the serial interface to the MinimOSD .. which is the main data input ..

Yeah - it's pretty straight forward .. the only thing that we might encounter is that I also update the Charset in the Max7456 .. so gotta remember to flash that back as well :-)

Thats really all i am looking for and of course battery voltage

Well, don't have battery voltage right now .. I am trying to implement that next .. I am using a FrSky Voltage sensor right now .. that can be hooked in via the MinimOSD, but haven't got around it ....

There is the typical commentary negativity at the bottom of the page. It would be cool if you guys voiced your positive opinions as well. I am so sick of everyone painting our hobby in a negative light without any experience whatsoever. Why aren't people freaking out about people with telephoto lenses if they are so concerned about privacy? It's maddening. There are already "laws" being pushed that could really restrict our hobby, not to mention any eventual commercial opportunities.
