When it's on fire can you do anything like throw dirt on it or put it out?

Wow, so even chemical suppression won't put out a lipo fire?

BTW, do you guys store your lipos indoors? I could store outdoors in a sealed container, but I'm concerned about temperature changes and moisture, etc.....

personally ive bashed the crap out of may lipos in RC cars and planes traveled with them stored pretty carelessly now im not saying there safe by any means but ive yet to have one do much more than slightly balloon and i repaired that myself with a pin and rubber cement... maybe im just lucky but storage wise i think your good as long as nothing can short or get punctured temps i dot think matter i dragged my rc cars on ops in bridgeport (close to zero degrees) and yuma as well as 29 palms in the summer (115 degrees the last time)

anybody got pointers on how or where to test range for an fpv set up? im using 1.3 with a low pass filter to hopefully avoid interference with my 2.4 transmitter. flew today LOS but with the FPV gear on at the park, seemed fine but i was confined to the area of about a baseball field. thinking of going offroading at a spot near elsinore big open area no trees just hills and overview of canyon lake. should make for some pretty good flying

Flew my new Predator V2 system on my racing T-28 today

Had some fun this am at SEFSD with my racing T-28. I bought a second canopy and used the old one to mount my Fat Shark tx, camera and balance plug power interface. Flew aerobatics and simulated the pylon course. 3 others had their goggles and joined me in the fun.

The only down side is my goggles appear to have a defect. Mine do not focus correctly in either eye. I tried the other Predator V2s present and they were very sharp with my plane's signal. When I got home I hooked the goggles to my 900mhz system and have the same focus issue. If I use a lens from reading glasses the image gets sharper. Can they be assembled incorrectly? Is there a electronic focus set internally? I'm just a little bumbed about this issue.
