I'm looking to buy my first mini-quad and is debating between Hubsan x4 and 1 SQ. Main concern is wind handling as my area is always windy.

- Like the 1 SQ canopy and TX-RX that can bind to my Dx6i, but this end costing twice the x4.

- X4 reviews shows that is very smooth and video in wind looks very stable.

- Don't care if there is no automatic flip settings, as I rather use my own skills to flip it ( I fly cp helis and is staring to learn flips,rolls)

- Seems Parts on 1 SQ are easier to get (Tower hobbies)

So which one? Any other reviews on them?

Well I haven't seen any flight reviews on the sq, but if you already own a spektrum radio it is probably the better option for you. Also, if you don't mind spending the extra availability at Tower is a pretty nice thing.

However, the best micro out there for wind handling, from what I have read, would be the ladybird v1 from Walkera.

I am betting this board does not have accelerometers on it, which may make a difference to someone looking for wind handling ability.

on videos it look great flying in the wind. See the trees moving.

adding Blade MQX to mix of Hubsan x4 and Heli-Max 1 SQ comparsion? I have these 3 threet choice from. How do they compared? Doesn't have to Spektrum comparable.

I like look of 1 SQ best, but MQX is slightly bigger and probably easier to see, whereas the X4 is very hard to see from looking at videos.

X4 is most affordable and it see to handle wind good. Review on it shows its very smooth and stable, but QC is question mark.

What about v929,v939, Ladybird v2 if DSM2 isn't a must and you are looking for an "affordable" quad?
You won't be able to use a fullsize TX with the X4. It has its own protocol.

Sure, which ones would you recommend? So many choices here, I would go with ladybird v2 to go with my dx6i. Don't like the canopy though.

Ladybird v2 doesn't work with the dx6i (only if you get the specialized version already mentioned).

Get all three if you can afford them.

I would get it if I would live in the states.
