anybody remeber this kit????

The classic
Inland Sport
it's a old 1/2 A kit that was made by FLYLINE MODELS I was given one brand new and im working on building it

oh i didnt know that 1.2 meant .20-.49 was told it was a 1/2a kit but the box says .20-.49

I think you'll find that the box says .020 - .049 which would be 1/2a class and fine for the 37" wingspan.

I have just bought a Fairchild 22 from Flyline Models myself, will save it for a winter build.

I downloaded the plans from outerzone.com, it states, "For up to 2 channnels and also free flight; Power Alternates: Cox .020 on glo or diesel, also .020 electric power".

It's not a model for a novice, nor are any of the other Flyline kits.

No, of course not. They are a builder's kit. But built lightly, an .020 to a mild (perhaps throttled) reed valve .049 should be more than adequate. Those who have built several rubber powered stick kits like the Comets and Guillows should have no problem with it; may be even a Miss Stik or Miss Stik Jr.
