I thought so too Lurk but it's too high to fit under all those little bridges. It does resemble those canal boats though. pete

Interesting but my Southern Belle has a lot more curves and far better lines then that.

This looks some what similar to but would be longer than the Deans Marine Snow Goose or the Bluebird of Chelsea. Also both carry the raised deck further back.

Neither English Narrow boats or any of the Bluebird of Chelseas rebuilds have used turned table legs as hand rail supports.

Shows all the design finesse of the Edsal.

I owned an Edsel and drove it a lot. Rode well,had plenty of power,good radio and comfortable seats. It was a very nice car. Pete
