Thanks guys, unfortunately i didn't have much time to concentrate on the paintjob or she'll be a beauty. I had to invest more time into designing the structure and airfoil of the wings so i can guarantee that i can put her in the air safety.

Sure, i've added an attachment of the linkages. The servo is embedded inside the fuselage on the other side so i couldn't really take a snapshot of it, but i drew a diagram of what it actually looks inside!

Its pretty simply actually if you look at it. Just a HXT900 servo and 2 push rods controlling each engine cowl.

Thanks guys for all your fantastic comments.

Building it non-stop for 5days straight was like being in airplane building boot camp. , i got a well deserved rest on a sunday after breathing in all the foam and wood dust along with minor abrasions from using the sanding block.

DemonDriver, thanks for both that very informative videos on the Boeing 727, i didn't know so much about them until i watched them. Back in the 1970s, i'm very sure it's one of the best,if not the best commercial airliners ever built!

Boeing 727 revived

Almost 3 years she has been sitting motionless chucked in one corner in my home. I hadn't found an opportunity to maintain my rc-flying skills over 9 months as i was too caught up with my A350 scratch build.

Afraid that my competency level had dropped, I've decided to revive her once more and use it as a "trainer" in preparation for my A350 madien flight. True enough, i wasn't as good at landing as before as i had executed many Go-Arounds. There were many instances where i came in too fast and furious for landing.

As for the taking offs and cruising , I've found it very manageable with ease. Once i fine-tuned my landing skills. I'll than be confident enough to fly the A350.

The pictures you see are only the nicely captured photos. If i had post the flying video, it would have looked like reckless flying!

Nevertheless , i had a fun time flying her again. Will practice more over the next few weeks.

Better to be "fast and furious" than "slow and crunchy"

Agreed, that's an awesome "trainer". Glad you had fun with it, that's the whole point.

Anyway for the servo for the thrust-reversers is embedded in the fuselage,behind the engine, hidden from view. I've draw the servo in the autocad for your reference.
