I have my Hangar 9 P47 for sale. Awesome plane that I converted to electric and it flys great. I have done some mods which include adding a plywood plate to the front and back of the firewall for added strength. I also added guns to the wing to make it look more scale and I took out the stock receiver tray inside the fuse and made a new one. I also added electric retracts and beefed up the stock retract mounts that the retract units themselves bolt to. The plane overall has been beefed up and it stronger than it was from the factory. The new electric retract have 5mm metal struts and the retract units are all metal gears and are rated up to a 13lb plane. I have flown it on the new retracts for about 5 flights and have had no issues and they are strong. I originally had a 75 2 stroke nitro on it but I got ouf of nitro and went all electric and did the conversion. It has a Proton 80 am opto speed controller and a Firepower 80 (50-65-410) brushless motor from Headsuprc.com swinging a APC 15x8 prop. Flys great at half throttle. Motor mount is a great planes large motor mount. It has a 6 volt 2000mAh NiMh Hydramax battery for the receiver and servos, a Futaba switch mounted to the side of the fuse and a voltwatch mounted under the canopy. Servos are all Futaba 3004 using Expert brand servo extensions. Pilot is installed and I also cut off the doral fin because the full scale one doesnt have it. I made a custom battery tray where the fuel tank was and epoxied it in place as well and has velcro tie downs I flew it on a 6 cell 4400 30C Sky Lipo brand lipo. Plane will come with everything except receiver and lipo battery. I need these for another project. Very nice plane and a great flyer. Local pickup or I can meet someone. Hate to sell but I dont fly it much and want it to go to a good home. I also have the manual and fuel tank if one wanted to go back to nitro. I also have a new cowl in the box with a dummy radial engine that will go with it. The cowl in the pics is the one from when I had a glow motor on it and it is cracked and the paint is peeling off of it. Im asking 300.00 for it.
