Ok, so in ATT mode you can just drive around using the right stick and not worry about the throttle?

This is the what I've gathered from my short experience with this.....

GPS Mode:

1) Gives you stability (self levels)

2) With left and right sticks centered, the position is locked (try to move it by hand and it will fight to remain in the same spot)

3) With the left stick centered, you can fly with the right stick only and maintain altitude (you can also use the left stick to change yaw and hold altitude as long as you don't move it up or down)

4) Gives you the ability to Return To Home (RTH)

ATT Mode:

1) Gives you stability (self levels)

2) With both sticks centered, it will not hold position in the case of wind or being pushed around by hand.

3) With the left stick centered, you can fly with the right stick only, but the altitude will change with the wind.

4) No RTH

In either mode, you should be able to move the sticks around in any position you wish while in the air and still not be able to get out of shape enough to come tumbling down

Thanks Snake, that has cleared a lot up! So have you ventured into manual mode yet? I bet it would be so much faster (and scarier!).
Any new vids yet?

Nope, haven't used manual mode and don't plan on it anytime soon.

In fact, my builder didn't program a manual mode and said by the time I'm ready for it, I'd be able to program it in myself

I had uploaded another video showing slow motion, but the audio track was muted by YouBoob, so I deleted it.

I planned on making another vid today, but it's quite windy out.

You need the switch to hit manual mode to do the compass calibration, probably not a bad idea at all to check that.

Hmm, I don't even have a clue about that stuff lol

My builder suggested not even plugging in the NAZA until he can get things sorted out with the updates.

Apparently, all of his NAZA stuff is grounded until further notice, but since I haven't updated, I'm good to go.

BTW, I added some LED's today and couldn't help taking flight, even though the winds were kicking up due to Hurricane Sandy

DJI F550 Hexacopter Night Flying with new LED Light Strips (Un-Edited) (6 min 46 sec)

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to edit the video as I usually do because my laptop took a dump a few days ago and my new one is back ordered and won't arrive for a few weeks

Picked up a suspended wire camera mount from NoMoJello.com and did a little test video

NoMoJello wire frame insulator GoPro Mount First Test (DJI F550 Hexacopter) (9 min 24 sec)

It made a HUGE improvement over all the previous mounts I've cobbled together

I'll be playing around with the wire adjustment and making another vid later this week
