Use Preset 8 or 9 if it has balancing leads and charge at 1.5A for the first few charges .
The battery should be marked as to max. charge rate. Some can be charged at 5C or greater.

If it does not have balancing leads then use Preset # 11 which is for 1-5 cells non balanced.

Cells will charge to 3.65 each and will settle down to approx. 3.45 after a few hours.

Hi Guys,

I have purchased this battery;

Charles answered one of my questions but I have another. This is a Tx pack and I am wondering at what voltage I should think about recharging? I just want to make sure I don't draw it down too far.

Thanks, Terry

Terry the discharge curve for a decent LiFePO4 is close to a flat line until it is 98% empty and for that reason it is difficult to say what LV point is safe in a Trans. application. Cells should be fine down to 2.5 or lower but Transmitter may nit be happy below 9.6 or 3.2 per cell id LiFePO4 is in fact a 3S. Not all RC transmitters are nonimal 8 cell Ni / 9.6V these days.

If it we me I would recharge at 10.0V note and record mAh required along with Trans. on time for that cycle.

FYI I tried LiFePO4 in Transmitter and then went back to Sanyo Eneloops as I much prefer thier noticeable discharge curve and many years of proven reliable performance plus convience of using OEM charger.
