$20 Hobbyshop mini delta find
Once again, a nice find at Mike's hobby..
This is an unfinished and unflown Electrifly Mini Delta. It came with a crude homemade paint job, yet appeared light.
For 20 bucks, how could I go wrong?
This is using the same MicroDan 1804-2500kv motor that quick changes
to my mini Stryker and F35 with no tools.
The AUW was listed at 6.7 with 50 watt brushed gear.
Mine is 4.4 oz with 75+ watts. (4x4 gws prop, 3s)
Although this delta is larger and quite a bit heavier than the Stryker, it posses nearly the same slow flight with a higher top end and crazy roll rate.
Spectators had nice comments on not just the speed, but how smooth it looks.
Landing is so slow, it doesnt skid, but rather just plops at my feet.
Just bought another NIB off this site! Happy flyer here!

To bad these are discontinued.. I can fly slower than a stock mini Stryker with much more stability at a higher top speed.
I wanted to get the word out how good this flies.. since I found 2 of them in one week, I would think there are more out there.
I will be posting a vid of me flying with half an elevon coming off and still under reasonable control. I finished the entire flight like that! The hinges leave a little to be desired.

It is pretty easy to chase down a 40mph vehicle with a 100 yard start.
Not even a loose elevon could spoil the fun.
(Bad stock hinges)
After this video was made, the little bird had been flown through tight courses like both football field goals in one shot, between trees, etc. (with fixed hinges)
Despite the size, it can fly in a very controlled manor, and the construction and weight make it safe to operate.
