super bandit edf power option
EDF gurus,
Please educate me, could I use turnigy 2610 with a 70mm fan (68mm dia blades), the motor originally is designed for 64 mm fan unit. I am using a 50 amp esc and 3s 25c 2200mah battery. the AUW on the jet is around 500 grams, attached are few pics also you can see 64mm edf looks small in the fuselage. I am new to edf's and this is my first scratch build jet, any help/suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks Varun Pauddar |

What is the measurements for the intake openings in mm?
How big is the opening for the exhaust? |

intakes are 30 mm x 57 mm and exhaust is 60 mm x 50 mm

2973mm ² FSA for the intakes
and has enough room for a 49mm exhaust tube If your measurements were from the inside,this should be adequate for a 70mm. I cant say anything about the motor and blade combo |

D_FAST thanks for the help, is there a link for FSA calculator that you are using.
Also thanks for the calculations, yes these are internal dimensions of intakes and exhaust. Cheers Varun |
