anyone had dealings with RC-hero?.... this crash pack seems slightly cheaper with delivery then Wonderland models but its still pre order at moment too.

I noticed them earlier, they do just the body which would be good for me as wonderland models crashpack with the LiPo is 8.99 when you add the 3 shipping.

actually, there was no smoke out when i connected the wrong battery. all motors start spining when i connected the wrong battery. It happens several seconds before i realize that i have not switch the connector yet.
after that, i connect it to the right battery, but receiver board led would not light... nothing happen....

i would go to my lhs to see if they can fix this

Gents,
Well unfortunately now we know the Hubsan X4 is not protected from reverse polarity...Gotta ask. Are those who are hooking up the lipos with the wrong polarity not charging them first? If so why not?? It is common practice to charge lipos before use. If you do that and you haven't followed all the posted warnings about checking battery polarity, you would find out when the charging would ruin your lipo instead of your flight controller. That would be a better fail
Charge your new lipos before first use!
*EDIT: I guess this would not work if you had and used a Nine Eagles charger which has reverse polarity from most of the other mini and micro quads out there, so be wary of that too
Cheers,
Jim

Mine didn't come with spare props, ordered from UJToys.

Right out of the box, front two white propellers did not spin as fast as the rear when throttled. Making the Hubsan move forward instead of upwards. I think I saw the fix for that several pages back.

I'm happy to have one in my hands now

Hi G,
I was hoping this would lead to some other Tx features, but it appears to only be a way to test that the switches and sticks are working and wired properly. ...At least until anyone else finds something different
Cheers,
Jim

Mode 2, keep left stick pressed when switching tx on. It'll say 188 with all icons lit up. Press any button / stick and 0 appears on the screen. Any trim / stick button you press corresponds with a number, 1 to 9. Press left stick again and the number 100 appears. No idea what this means. Keep left stick pressed until you get your throttle response up on the screen.

Not a clue what any of this is. Maybe there's some stick commands in there too?

Need Advice Fast

Just want to get some advice, need to sort everything out. I ordered my Hubsan X4 from http://www.ujtoys.com, got a discount, very helpful lady. Now I want to get batteries and the charging harness. Please let me know if this would work in the Hubsan X4, charged with an iMax B6, already have a harness from HK for Turnigy 600's on my V929.

This battery:

The harness with work fine, but you will need to check polarity on any batteries you buy.

Forgot!

I also forgot to mention, I ordered spare rotor blades from here:

http://www.arrowmodels.com/hubsan-x4...lades-h107-a02

If anyone is interested. It would have been cheaper to get some alternates from BG or someone, but I just wanted some spares of the real thing and most places are out of stock.

Just received mine today
What a sweet little devil!
Thanks to Jim's good advises it hovers perfectly.
I don't think I will fly it outdoors because of my bad eyesight (unless I add some LEDs) but I already love this small thing indoors!
(My cat hates it! )

Ladybird V1, V929, Hoten-X and now X4. I'm a happy camper!
Who could have imagined we'll be so spoiled with cheap quads only a few years ago?
