I just got mine today and all I can say is WOW This thing is TINY and STABLE
Grandkids are here right now but later I'll post some video. It's definately a big leap ahead of the U816 in smoothness and control. I've only flown it a couple of minutes but I was blown away by the quietness and precise control.
Definately a winner and a must have Xmas gift for this year's multirotor pilot.

That sounds like a good first impression

In your video would you be kind and do some footage of the front showing the two "eyes" please.
All the other videos I have seen just give a quick glimpse as they whiz past the camera .

Can anyone confirm if the flips are manual or automatic?

You flip it by going into "expert" mode. Then if you want to flip to the right, give it a little left aileron then all the way right. To flip left, give it a little right aileron then full left. Same for forward or back flips. I haven't tried them yet. I'll try some outdoors if I have time tomorrow.
There is no "flip" button like some of the other micros.

Nice video, camera made it look pitch black not just dark.

Hope to get mine from Directsource4u this week, I had a prompt reply from Nicole to my email (last Friday) asking if they were in stock or when expected so ordered straight away.

No dispatch email yet but looking forward to trying it out when it gets here.

I like the part where he flew the quad into the abyss. Haha.

The quad can do some neat piros! That's amazing stuff that my V939 cannot do.

@Directsource4u, I appreciate the concern, but I don't think you understand what I was going at. This is NOT a QC issue, it is a DESIGN issue. Every quad is checked by Banggood when it is shipped out and I have never had any problems with their products. Thanks.

Anyways, I went to the China Aviation Museum today... it was flooded with people and security was strict because of the national holiday (I thought it was going to be empty like the first time I was there)... So I was a very nervous to bust out the quad. BUT I am a man of my words and I must keep my promise...so here are some pictures of the X4 quad on a Mig 15 wing!



Videos to come later- I not only got to fly by a mig, I also got to fly by one of my favorite aircraft of all time- the Trident!
