Corrosion X Or Corrosion Block - Is One Better Than The Other?

Is there a difference or preference for either one of these products when it comes to effectiveness regarding electrical/electronics in R/C water planes?

Thank you!

I've used CorrosionX for over three years now without a failure. CorrosionX has a 40,000 volt dielectric property and will not degrade printed circuit boards or their components. This is very important for our 2.4 gHz receivers that can be effected by very low voltage leaks across the lands of the printed circuit boards.

I've never tried Corrosion Block so I can't give you a comparison. However, the Corrosion Block site does not address any electrical properties of the product, or if it is safe for electrical printed circuit boards or components.

I ran some tests with Corrision Block to see if it would protect a brushless ESC from water being sprayed on it. It didn't work as the motor began to stutter so I quickly unplugged the battery. At the time I didn't have any CorrisionX on hand so I don't know if it would have passed the same test.

Here's where I reported my results on the Corrision Block test.
