Yeah me too... But while working on it I had it sitting on the gear without thinking about it.... Getting them taken care of... A friend told me how to fix them... Soak them in warm water and they shape right back out.

If you are taking the wheels off...be careful of that little C clip. I took one off of my plane...on my first roll, it came off. So did the wheel. I know it was back on secure. Ended using a bit of fuel tubing and CA to hold the wheel on so I could fly it as the clip was long lost in the grass.

That little C-Clip is a little pain in the But.. But lowes has them.. One of mine took flight into oblivious. They are 5/32" in size for future reference. Also, the wheels are not the same on both sides. If you put it on backwards, it will scrape the strut and cause drag. The long side of the axel goes towards strut.

Maiden my Duke today and will have video shortly. Was not without a couple of problems, both with the nose gear.

Problem 1: Pull Pull wires stretched bad to the point that steering was next to impossible, will have to replace the wires with something else.

Problem 2: Nose gear strut metal is too soft. Bent back on landing, and it was not a hard landing.

Problem 3: On last take off, probably because of Problem 1, nose wheel came off on take off and had to land on the rim. No real damage here, but will have to glue it back on.

I ended up getting two 2814/06 motors from Hobby People (item #129026) They were $24 each. They are a perfect fit for length but you do need to drill different mounting holes. Easy! I'm using hextronik D-MG16 servos from HK. They are excellent servos with lots of torque. The pictured CG doesn't match the 120mm (4.72") Where has everyone found the most suitable CG? Look at the instructions. The CG is at mid wing cord! I'm ready to fly as soon as I find the correct CG.

I will look at mine into more detail, but it looks like a tight fit from here.

I'm more interested on "HOW" to get it in!! Or any camera for that matter!! The canopy if glued to cockpit. do I just hack a big hole in the back wall?? But that will interferer with the latch!

I also installed different flap hinges... They are better but not as scale like. they gap away from the wing when they engage!!
