These are the guys I'll put in the cockpit. They look good in my 310 so they will do fine here.
Bevis and butthead will /might go in the back.
I'll make a post on how they went in when I finish painting the guys.
Here are the links to their replacements.

Any ideas on how to make the seam in the back from the two piece fuse look better? It's not terrible, and you really can't see it from the air....Zagi

This foam type is very "filler friendly" just about any type filler will work.
I would go with automotive body filler and wet sand it flush but that is where the real work would start.
Hiding the evidence of the sanding with primer then trying to match the paint would be the big project

Airshow R/C has the kit version of the Fly Fly one, I have one of those, have not yet started or really looked at to see the quality issues that it might have, but its a kit so it can be fixed as I put it together.

I don't think the dealers are to blame.
The manufactures get their money up front so they are not in a real hurry to get the boxes full.
Then there is the shipping container to fill. They never leave port unless every inch is full.
Once it is here customs get their chance to delay the shipping.
Lots of containers with more important stuff inside.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Wal-Mart stuff is first on their list.
All the while the dealers are being told it will be any day now leaving us with transmitters in our hands.

Don't know if it is true for sure but that is the way I see it.

You pretty much nailed it! In my "professional" career, we worked with the shipping/receiving industry in a support endeavor.......there is much truth in what you posted!

Thanks, I'm aware of the FF version. But, at $179 plus $71 shipping.....and it does not come with electronic retracts, or factory cut provsions for flaps. What you get for $179 as compared to $109 for the AeroSky (A-RC), it is way overpriced.

Earlier in this thread a comparison is made between the two versions.

wow, you sir are one nice guy!
I only read the flyfly stuff long enough to see I had the better of the two.
That price difference is stupid / insane.
Get the word out and they will sit on the shelves until they have to give them away.
Serves them right for making a knock off.

( I'm speaking out of school on this one of course, I have no proof the tooling was copied ).

Back from the field and not real happy.

"T" shirt flying days in Texas are few and far between in February and I invested this one in this plane.
I made a run down the runway and all was going well.
At about rotation speed I put a touch of rudder to get me on the centerline and the nose dipped , dug in and sent the model cart wheeling in an instant.
Parts went flying but not in a good way.
It all came to rest in the tall grass just off the side of the runway.
So far Aerosky is selling a P.O.S

Crash investigation

I got the plane to the pits and started looking it over.
Broken fuselage and the wing tips came off just as planned.
They would have surely been broken had I not made the magnet modification.
What I found was that the nose gear tire came off the rim.
The sharp edges of the rim acted like a plow in the grass and the model and I didn't stand a chance.

You would think that they could protect their reputation and put a spot of glue on the rim.
What could it cost? . . . .three cents.

And if they are not going to do it why don't they tell us to.
A drawing of a glue drop with an arrow pointing at the tire.
You don't even have to speak English to get the point across.

I suppose it's my fault.
If they put props that are hard to balance in the kit why should I think the wheels would work.

Here we go again, accepting and developing another model for the ARF industry.

Ouch, yeah you can't trust anything on the foam arf'sout now, I generally go over everything, pulling here tug there, check the clevis's on the wire make sure its not stripped, fuel tubing to keep it locked on the control horns, etc......., they pump these thngs out by the hundreds daily, something is bound to be missed.

The Alternative-- FlyFly B60

For those of us who can't wait for the A-RC (AeroSky label) to be in stock again at NP, Hobby People has reduced their price by $80 for the only FF version (PNP) they sell. It's now $319 and shipping is free until 18 February. It's still overpriced at that, IMO, as NP's price for the AeroSky B60 (PNP) is listed as $249 plus shipping (around $33-$36 for UPS Ground).

UPDATE! HP just again reduced the price to $279, with free shipping. I'm tempted, see how there is still no word from NP on their AeroSky B-60
