You're behind me in the waiting list. I guess his waiting after the maiden he will offer the short kits. See post # 15

Regardless of the maiden results I would buy one with my eyes closed.

Looking great Pekos. What size of fan or turbine your planning to use in it?

love the brace on vertical to horizontal stabs. Nice way to keep accuracy.

Sketchup workflow ?

Can you say a few words about Sketchup workflow ?
Once you have the shell and the sections, how do you end up with the ribs ? Do you draw the ribs weight-reduction windows manually on each rib or intersect them with some 3D body ? Did you leave the ribs as just a single plane without thickness ? How did you draw the interconnection tabs on the ribs ?
And finally, once you finished the model, how do you produce the layout for laser cutting ? Do you create a component from every rib, copy it and manually position somewhere ? Or does Sketchup Pro have some special facility for that that is not available in the free version ?

Thanks,

Sergey.

Hi Pecos,
What weight are you thinking it will come in around? It's coming along nicely. Looks great.
