Ok its raining here so i am starting a new build today.
It is my version of the Ultimate Bipe.
Got the pattern cut and taped one side.
Drew bend lines on the other side
Glued and clamped the tail.
Started to work the bend lines a little bit.

Pictures to come but I too got a bottle of foam tac from WM parkflyers.
And while it was great for building my little MX. I found it was fantastic for repairing my blown flip flop. I was able to continue wearing them all season after a little foam tac.

Yo Buddy, How funny that you mention fixing your flip flops, BTW good name for a 3D plane, after using it for your planes. Just this morning my daughter asked me to fix her shoes, and a belt. So I grabbed my Foam-Tac and to work I went. They were fixed in no time and went right back to my scratch build project. I am building a new fantasy scale WW1 style. This one is mostly balsa wing and tail feathers made from depron, fuse and motor mount and cockpit all balsa sticks and all glued up using Foam-Tac, this stuff glues balsa and plywood just as well as foam.
I love Foam-Tac!!!

Foam Tac Contest no longer on RCgroups.

Hi Guys, just a note to let everyone know that Beacon Adhesives and I can no longer run a contest here on RCgroups. It seems that the moderators of RCgroups have rules about a company that is not a site sponsor running a contest here. In order to continue to run this contest we would have to become a site sponsor. We would love nothing more than to do that but, after careful consideration we have come to the conclusion that we just cannot afford to do that at this time. We at Beacon have invested a lot into the new Foam-Tac and other adhesives for the hobby market and our budget is stretched very thin at this time. So for this fiscal year at least we are not in a position to buy sponsorship on RCgroups. Not to worry, we are building our company web page and will continue the contest there. I encourage everyone to continue to post their build, repair and tech tips here, as we want you to show off your skill and creativity, but anything related to the contest will go through our Company web site. We want to extend our gratitude to the Moderators of RCgroups for their help and understanding and we look forward to that day in the near future when we become site sponsors on RCgroups, the best RC web site on the internet.

Thank You,
Eric G
