hey man im thinking about getting this plane, but I'm coming from electric and have no clue about nitro. Could you break it down for me the basic knowledge needed to fly and maintain a nitro? Also why are you selling it?

Why not make it electric? The easy way is to use an Eflite Power 60 outrunner as they have it sized to take the place of a .60 size nitro. You'd just need to check the blade size to make sure it would work. Perhaps a 3bladed prop.

JoeR your a genius!!! why didnt i think of that. Only problem is this is my first time converting a nitro plane to an electric, and this guy i think may have already sold his plane. So I need to find another maybe they have them without the motors installed, you know just the frame.

It doesn't come with a motor/engine unless I read something incorrectly.

Shipping may be really expensive to you though.

Joe do you have one of these planes? If so how does it compared to electric seawind. I've been watching videos of the nitro seawind here:
GoPro Seawind Rc plane (15 min 5 sec)

and the electric seawind:
Electrifly Seawind RC Plane Review and Flight (8 min 21 sec)

And from what I can see from the videos the nitro seawind seems to be more stable than the electric, is that because the nitro seawind is heavier or maybe the materials are better quality/durable. It seems the foamy electric sways more if there's wind and has less stability compared to the nitro.

If I convert a nitro seaplane to an electric would it fly like in the first video I posted? I really love how fast it flys and its so stable. I've never seen an electric fly that stable.

Its all about size and weight. The nitro is much much larger and 4500 grams while the electric is 1100 g. I don't want to muck up this for sale thread, PM me if you want to discuss further.
