If anyone near to me wants to buy mine I'm selling it.
Only had 5 flights or so and only has one tiny scratch. PM me for details if interested.
I'm selling it not because it's bad or anything, I'm just bored of mustangs

Cheers,

Steve

Enjoyed a few more flights this morning and compared stock prop vs stock prop with cable tie shim to increase pitch. The latter suits the plane far better, and has a lot more punch when you need it to get you out of trouble. Well worth the modification guys. Cheers.

Glueing Horizontal and vertical stabilisers

Hi, just reading the instructions to assembly the tail section and nowhere does it mention to use glue, just the 2 screws to hold it in place. Is this correct or are people glueing the stabilisers as well.

Thanks

Yup, all you need to do is use the 2 furnished screws to hold it in place.

That's one of the nice things about "Most" of the FMS models, is that you can if you want take them back apart and put them back in their box for storage of if you're selling it and be able to ship to whom ever you sold it to...just like you received it. That's why I save all my FMS plane boxes. There is only a few that this is not possible with , like the BF-109, JU-88 Stuka, and the Zero...and on those planes, it's only because you glue on the Elevator section instead of it being screwed in place

Vertical stab hardware issue

Trying to complete my build but hit a snag. The #6x25 screw will not grab the inside plate no matter how much pressure so I thought I'd ask if anyone else may have already solved this problem?

I thought I'd try compressing the foam a bit by using a large eno ugh push rod ie. Back end of a ratchet but thought I'd ask here first before I destroy it?

Update: Figured it out! It was simply misguided and digging into the foam along side the plastic. Duh! Thanks for everyone's help!lol

Hi Guy's was thinking of this model, But does anyone have a sequencer that will close those gear door's that is so stupid, They have to close when the gear's down, I would think the wind on them would strip a servo or blow the door off completely not to mention the grass runway ripping them off. Thanks

Before I was using the EMS Sequencer for the P-51 style door operation, but you can use these and they work perfectly. The only function that they don't have that the EMS does is a user controlled delay and speed function. I just bought and tested 4 sets of them and they worked like a charm...I now have one on my V7 BBD P-51 Mustang. I am also using one on my 1700mm FMS Mustang as well.

These just came out about a month ago...Or at least that's when I found them.

Raymond also has them on his web site @ RCCastel.com

The one I mentioned from HobbyKing is it has user controlled delay but no speed function
