I just put together my Rafale kit, and i was told to use a certain CA from the LHS. After I glued the main wings on, and put a bead along the seam, i noticed after a couple of hours that the CA had eaten away at the seam of the joint. Is this normal??? it seems to me that the LHS sold me the wrong glue!!

I'm thinking of just running a bead of clear silicone on the seam of the joint to make a better seal. Is this going to be ok?

Also, when i received my kit, one of the canard wings was a little crushed, although just cosmetic in my opinion, will this affect flight?

CA will dissolve EPS foam so you need to use a Foam Safe CA. Be careful when you try to repair your plane the dissolved foam is likely to have created some weakness in the structure.

use fast dry gorilla glue, it will expand and fill all the holes you made

is the gorilla glue better than using silicone?

silicone is flexible u dont want to use that use epoxy its very strong and sets in 5/15/30/slow cure times in minutes depending on which one u buy depending on the size of hole u need to fill u can try polyurethane glue it foams up and will fill the gaps/holes

gorilla glue is the best glue for foam...yes better than silicone and better than epoxy for foam
