Interesting times. I just scored a Cox Medallion .09 off fleabay for $24.99 plus shipping and I was the only bidder. Perfect for a Jr Ring.

Thanks.
I was amazed. Very seldom do I do well on debay.
The last time I got a mint Atwood Super Champion .63 sparkie for $85 with only one other bidder contending and I really don't think he knew what it was.

Yup, that is a real bargain. I've had similar bargains, picked up an older Enya .09 R/C with left exhaust and baffle restrictor (for idle w/o muffler), same styled OS Max .10 R/C (w/exhaust restrictor) for under $12 each. Got an Enya .19 VI R/C for under $20. They're R/C, but nothing prevents one from locking the throttle wide open for C/L. I've got universal mufflers if noise is a problem. For some odd reason, it seems people don't value these engines as much, which makes them inexpensive. I like them because they can swing a good sized propeller.

Ringmaster Jr. About 1958 Sheldon, Illinois. Built for a Fox .15 engine. I had hair with color then and much lighter in weight. Jack

Nice work, Jack. Painted as camouflage to resemble a warbird?

Yes on the warbird look. Yellow on top with some green and Japanese markings. Easy to paint just circles. Grey on the bottom with Japanese markings. It flew well. Jack

Oh, okay, I see the Japanese roundels on the wing. Let me also guess, taken on 2-1/4" 120 roll film and probably a box camera like a Yashica A or Kodak Brownie (not as familiar with the Kodak legacy models). I was thinking about perhaps when I build a P-51, to paint it as the one captured by the Japanese in WW2, used for assessing its performance. Saburo Sakai, one of Japan's top living aces commented about how advanced it was to what they were flying, self sealing tanks, cockpit armor, yet high performance.

Yes, I have a Suzuki LS650 Savage single cylinder. I spent a couple years in Okinawa, a lovely place and lovely people. There are "Oki's" in other parts of the world, too.
