HPI Savage Flux HP DesertBoy 17 1/5 Scale Brushless Monster Truck
This Savage Flux HP has been modded into a ⅕ scale Monster Truck. It is truly awesome and can run over just about anything. It will still do 65+ mph on 6S, but I suggest some more stable tires as these 6.5” Terra Pins are meant for bashing and are HUGE.
The GCM chassis is awesome. It places the motor up front to help with weight distribution. The chassis is so long the batteries can be mounted behind the transmission inside the chassis side plates. Doing this will still allow you to do back flips with ease. If you want to cut down on the wheelies, you can use the side mount battery boxes which will put more weight towards the front. I have added a few custom pieces to the truck to help with functionality. Mainly the esc mount made from high density plastic which places the ESC under the rollbar so it is protected from a crash There’s also a piece of lexan which the RX mounts to. $500 shipped in the US. Will included a DX3 Transmitter for $15 extra. Mods on the truck: GCM DesertBoy 17 Alloy chassis GCM Alloy battery tray Integy Rear Alloy hub carriers HPI Super H/D Wide Axles front and rear HPI Firm Springs (white) HPI Sway bars front and rear (medium installed, hard included) HPI High Speed Idler 39t/Shaft set HPI HD DRIVE GEAR 18-23 TOOTH HPI Heavy Duty Cup Joints on the trans outputs Bad Horsie blue shock socks Integy Alloy Wheelie bar Electronics: Castle Creations Mamba Monster Max esc HPI 2200kv motor (made by castle creations) Futaba BLS-352 Super High Torque brushless steering servo Spektrum SR3000 RX Also has all the spare parts and original parts if you wanted to convert back to normal as well as a lot of brand new parts in sealed bags. As you can see in the photos, the truck truly is ⅕ scale in size. Look at it compared to my Gas Firehammer Monster Truck.
