Might be a UFO???
Out flying my xRotor IFrame quad I came across two men baling hay. So I decided to fly around the tractors a bit.
Being they may have never seen a quad copter before, they may not know what in the world it was...? Thus a UFO for them... My not be able to see it in the video, but the man on the red tractor was keeping a close eye on my quad. His head was turning right and left to see where I was going next. Sorry it was very overcast that day so very low light conditions, the video is a bit dark. Forgot to save it in the highest Res. so it may not be as clear as it could be... ![]()

For a super simple, cheap FC, this is quite nice. It's just a gyro and accel, but it flies fantastic.

Larry, you can get graupners from gothlirc, rc-drones, or v-eastonline.com. Most of the guys I chat with are using zinger woody props as they are just as stiff and they do not cost 10 bucks a piece. I use to use the graupners but now I am moving to zingers for cost effectiveness. It sucks to nick a 10 dollar prop. A lot of times the graupner props I use 9", 10" or 11" are out of stock at most sites. Here is my latest quad, waiting on some zingers.
![]() We've also found that isolating the motors from the frame reduces vibes and jello too. Rusty offers motor isolators as well as ask man at tppacks. I don;t know if tppacks offers them for any other rigs than theirs though. This is Mike from the crossroads BTW. See ya at the field... |

Thanks Mike. Wow, your new quad is wild. I had my video
transmitter fail yesterday. Lucky I was pretty close, like a hundred yards, quickly pulled off goggles and spotted it and got it back. Nobody else was there so I was really lucky. I have another Video system that was in a plane and it's in the quad now and working good. |
