It's a rough and tumble deal in the Middle East and everyone in that embassy knew the risks they were taking.

The last 10 9/11 anniversaries did not result in anything like this so you can't say in hindsight that we should have known this was going to happen.

A bill was put in front of the Republican controlled Congress last year that included increased funding for foreign embassies and it was voted down by the Republicans. That bill would have provided additional security that could have avoided this tragedy.

The President does not micromanage things like this. The President and the Democrats put forward a bill that would have provided additional security and it was voted down. And that was that.

Twisting this around to be some sort of paranoid conspiracy is in really poor taste. These people knowingly risked their lives to promote America in a very dangerous and critical part of the world. Did you consider for a moment the families of these people who were killed and those who survived? Did you consider that America would wait until all the families were notified before announcing the casualties?

Apparently not. America is still a civilized society. These American's lives are not to be taken so lightly to become grist for your paranoid claims.

Very poor taste.

This was very telling from Biden. Noticed how Ryan gulped when confronted with someone that smacked back with what really happened.

If there ever was a time to be patriotic and reverent and show some unity in America it was the attack on the Libyan embassy.

Those people walked the talk and are American heroes every bit as much as the Marines that landed on Omaha beach or Iwo Jima - especially Chris Stevens.

Some gave all.

Where has our patriotism gone?

Good point - too much profiteering over the deaths of those men for political gain presently and it's shameful!

Fox News hit an all time low by talking about the VEEP debate today whilst running emotive pictures of bloody handprints on Steven's home walls - disgusting subliminal suggestive partisan reporting tricks clearly intended to sway and pre-empt the veiwing of the debate - they should be thoroughly ashamed!

Facts. And this has nothing to do with R&R. Why bring them into it?

You are deflecting. Poorly.

Actually, when I deflect I do it well enough!

But this isn't deflection - it's conflation - different thing entirely!
