It's on right then.

Or my assassin is really weird, which I can't discount since I built it.

I think if Tom can build one and make it fly, you should be able to.

When you put it that way, it's obvious that something is wrong with the equipment I was using..

CG near the front of the servos,
And LOTS of control movement. I leave mine on 100% throws.
I thought you told me the CG should at or near the motor mount. Did I get that wrong? That's about 1/2 inch difference.

If that's what I said, yes. I apologize. I remember telling some it was "in front of the motor mount", but when measuring, it is closer to the front of the servos. I started marking that on them later on.

If it's only 1/2 though, I would think it would still fly. The front of the servos to the motor mount is probably closer to 2". That much would probably cause problems.

Yeah evan, don't overthinK the CG too much.
Mine is about an inch (or maybe an inch and a a half) in front of the motor mount.

I balanced the first one right on the motor mount, it still flew fine, just needed some down trim to encourage it to fly level.

Get it somewhere in front of the motor mount, it's gonna want to fly

I need to recheck the CG on mine. I flew it once...... Okay I flew it a couple of times but after I lost control over a parking lot full of cars and hit the side of a building, I decided I better put it away.

Mine balances about 8 and a half or 9 inches back from the leading edge of the main Wing at the center of the fuse
