Wire Holes

Those are clean looking wire holes in the tubes, gives it a nice look.

Thanks .. they look to be pretty strong.
No sign of loose in strengh at all.

I will do double hole (top and bottom) on the one i ordered lastly from you.
Will be for the Y6 and since they are 1.5mm wall should not have any problem.

from a materia stress point of view, its pobably better to locate the cutout on the side of the tube, rather than the top or the bottom.

the compression/tension in the tube is taken by the top and bottom surfaces of a round tube, so best not to locate the hole there

But the thing is.. does the boom is still very strong with the hole.?

After almost one and a half month.. Mike receive the frame in Tahiti.
What a long shipping time...

So pictures and video comming..

I have more of the CF tubes on the way from the same guy. I like being able get the thick wall tubes. Before I had to make them....putting a 14mm in a 16mm tube takes longer then you think. I am ready for bigger set of hex plates the one in the pic is too small.
The camera mount is the for your fpv spyder

Nice way to keep the ESC cool and it would make for a nice clean build. Do you think the prop wash would whistle when it hit the hole on the top?

270mm arm length and 10x4.7 apc prop.
i thing my motor is just for that quad.
actually i have this one :
4x rc timer 28.36.11 750kv
4x esc rc timer 30A
1x tx 5.8ghz 400wm + spironnet antenna 5.8ghz imc.
1x fpv cam foxtech 750tvl
1x 3S 750 mah for tx and fpvcam.
1x 3S 5000mah.
i would like to change my motor for a litle big one to have more fly time.
now i have 8.30minute fly time.
