Oh one more thing. When launching pizza style place two fingers behind the trailing edge to give it more Zoom. Again Motor off.

Your welcome Fly.

Yup. I fly a Demon too. The entire small valley where I live knows when I launch.

You obviously don't fly high performance wings. Again, no way I'd put my fingers anywhere NEAR that prop, throttle on OR off when the battery is plugged in. One mistake and it's all over...literally.

Does that make tic a "tosser"?

Good Point. I guess you could bump the throttle. Never though of that. No I do not fly 150mph screaming wings.

Ouch. Definitely time to dig out the winter coat and put an extra shot of something in the hot cocoa, eh? Google says it's -13F right now, which feels pretty damn toasty after the past week or so. On Sunday night we were tickling fifty below

High of 84 expected here in southeast Georgia today. Gusty wind though so no flying for me.
I'm about 3600 miles southeast of Fairbanks.

Hi Ron, 3,000 miles east of Fairbanks ! In GB no one is further away from anyone else than 430 miles. Just shows how big the States are. Sorry lads I'm way off topic now. Cheers

For a sense of scale the North/South highway through Florida is 382 miles long. The East /West in the northern part of the state is 362 miles.
Remember Alaska isn't part of the continental U.S., nor is it an island near Hawaii as some maps may lead you to believe. It is in the northwest region of Canada. So the distance doesn't really apply to the vastness of the U.S., rather North America.

Thanks for the geography blog Ron, as I said we Brits can appreciate the vastness of the States. Cheers and happy landings.
