I have seen you hunt for thermals in some of your videos - do you think you are getting close to actually thermaling one of your latest birds? SK ornithopters stock can't thermal well, but with your articulated wings +
airfoils seem like they will allow for the right amount of lift in a strong thermal.

Yes. I think that Seagull24iV may be able to catch thermal.

and how small you can go with the mechanism you like to use?

Very nice, as always Mr. Kakuta! Weight 33g - respectable.

How do you fix the last gear (the one that drives the wings) to the shaft? Do you have bearings at all? How do you fix the shaft that drives wings, so it doesn't move left-right. Does the shaft have a slot which is grabbed by another piece of carbon plate seen in photos?
