The Genesis 60" is back! - $320

We are excited to have the new and improved Genesis 1.5 meter (60") back in stock.
What has been improved? It now has a bit more length in the fuselage, a cleaner nose, and of course the biggest change, a 2 piece wing. Best of all, a new bright color scheme! Everything you wanted and more!

Need a plane that breaks down easily? Just pull the wing panels, and 2 screws mount the elevator. Now you have a traveling buddy that LOVES to fly.

A few details - Hollow molded, square carbon wing joiner and alignment pins, live hinges, bottom hinged flaps, and top hinged ailerons. Pretty much just install your radio and enjoy.

The Genesis use the HN1038 airfoil to good advantage, allowing high G pulls without loosing energy. (This plane loves to be cranked into turns.) If the lift is light the Genesis is still good to go thanks to a very stall resistant wing, and a light build weight.

The Genesis is a fun plane that has to be flown to be believed. Excellent value for the money, it will quickly become a favorite in your collection!

Check 'em out at:
http://www.alofthobbies.com/genesis-60-slope-racer.html

We still have a few of the older non-flapped Genesis available for just $245. This is has the 1 piece wing that loves to fly! Hurry, they will not last at this price!

-Wayne

p.s. In stock, but not added to the site yet: Luna 2 meter, 1.2 meter Fox, 2 meter Fox, and more! Our new 1.5 and 2 meter race planes are in beta testing!

Wayne,

Thank you for my Genesis wing. Didn't I just order it a few days ago? It arrived safe and sound!!!!

Thank you for the great packing job......could barely yank the wing out of the box.

Might just have to have the new version in the coming months.

Yeah, we go a little overboard on our plane packaging. We like them to arrive in perfect condition!

Thanks!

2.4Ghz friendly!

"LUNA 2M Glider

Specification :
Airfoil : MH32
Wingspan 2M (80”)
Length: 1,180mm
Wing Loading: 28.5-51.37dm sq.
Flying Weight: 1,250-1,450gram (without Ballast)
Controls: Rudder, elevator, ailerons, flaps, Crow.

Standard lay-up is several layers of glass over balsa sandwich which is strengthened where needed with carbon.

The plane is all-moulded. Using the popular crescent planform for the wings and tail the plane also has generous flaps which slow it to a crawl for precision landings. On full crow, the Luna can be landed backwards by pointing the nose into the wind and just letting the flaps down.

Using the MH32 Aerofoil by master aerodynamicist Martin Hepperle, Luna is ideal for 2M competitions, as an all round flyer, or maybe as a practice F3F airframe.

Featuring a 2 piece wing joined by a 10mm carbon rod, and detachable tail halves, the Luna is easy to transport and will fit disassembled onto the parcel shelf of most cars. Fit and finish are superb and the plane really fits the expression “If it looks right, it flies right.” A removable nose cone hides the electronics.

Comment from Andy Ellison (RCM&E):
"I threw everything I could at this model and it just sucked it up expecting more. Ballistic dives, the tighest high G turns I could muster, fast racing passes, stupidly extreme aerobatics and even some dynamic soaring. I really wanted to hack it off to prove that decent models cost way much more than this one does.......... I couldn’t. "

Attached are a few photos of Lunas. Our current stock are White/Red.

$375 plus shipping.

Yes, the Genesis can DS, but it is primarily a front side slope plane. We suggest limiting your backside adventures to about 125 mph.

Cruddy video of the older Genesis playing in the backside.
Aloft Hobbies Genesis - DSing with Jordan (3 min 38 sec)

For DSing, I think you will be much happier with the new race planes. They have a much larger wing joiner. Or better yet, we can order a carbon layup for you.

-Wayne

p.s. I'll bring some of these planes to the Speedo Races this weekend in So Cal.

I saw the new Genesis a couple days ago. I really like the new fuselage. The nose has a much better shape to it, and it's longer which means it would need less nose weight to balance.

Thanks Rubio! I know you have seen them fly before, so not much point in telling you how well they fly.

While the KST DS125MG will fit in the flapped Genesis, it is not required to have such a strong servo. The DS135MG is a good choice for the wings. I have some more affordable Power HD servos in stock that will work well also, I'll be adding them to the site very soon. (mid task right now.) For the elevator, I have used the KST 09A servo in my personal Genesis. That is a nice little digital that only costs $3.75. We have seen many of these planes built with $10 servos, the video above has $8 servos in it.

I like to use digitals for the stronger centering and strong torque for small adjustments.

So to answer, the plane will fit most any servo that is 11.5mm or smaller.

Be sure to pick up a couple of wire harnesses to make your life a little easier!
