Ok, I can see the horizontal stab in that picture. Did you borrow the rest of your glider from Wonder Woman, or did the stab just fall off? ;-p

One more, not a floater but a bent wing slope thing.
Half scale 2 meter, with solid balsa wings, rudder - elevator.

And the twice size 2 meter lurking in the grass behind me.

And I need a haircut!!

Here's another of my floaters. The good old classic Windfree. This one was modded to include solid carbon spars as well as full span flaperons

Now all you need is a retriever that brings the ring back next to your chair. Hand catch the plane, grab the ring, and launch.

Hands Free Retriever now does that. It's called the LBO. Sit in your easy chair. Retrieve with a hand switch and reset the retriever arm down with the same hand switch without getting out of your chair. You no longer must bend down to push the toggle switch to reset the arm down. Rick

2 really good floaters

I bought both these at the LHS which were hanging from the ceiling. Got both with servos for $150 which I thought was a steal. The 100" went to my Dad and I kept the 3 meter. Both are fairly old designs and have undercamber foils. These birds can stay up forever so long as the wind is below 12mph I wish I could thank the previous owner of these for taking the painstaking time to build the fuse on mine
Anyway I've lately been toying with putting a motor in my 3 meter. It does great on the highstart but with the ultra short rods and overall frail wing I wonder if it would be happier with a folder upfront. The other part is getting the nerve to bore a hole in the nose

Looks like a Bubble Dancer wing and stab on an old Supra fuse. And it looks very nice.

Parallel centre section, straight taper to tips, two piece spoiler and no rear spar. Otherwise it looks just like a triple taper continuous spoiler etc. etc. Bubble Dancer. Nice one ttoomm.

Miles - getting close

Hey Bob;
Just 1 or 2 more evenings before I go into final sanding. Going to be a beauty. Kathy has already selected a color scheme. I think you will like it.
