Eco8 Video! - some more practice
Hello guys,
I recently made a video of my Eco8. Some friends from the Ikarus BBS were nice enough to host my video. They have a website at www.dream-models.com. You can download the video directly from here: http://www.asdf.co.nz/pics/EcoHacker5.WMV Later! Chachin..

Hello Michael,
I would recommend to get a simulator first (your helis and your wallet will thank you in the long run). For setup, get +/-10 degrees of pitch. I'm not familiar with Aveox, but you should aim for at least 1700rpms with thrust bearings. A good heading hold gyro (does yours?) would be helpful so that you can concentrate on your inverted stuff without having to fiddle with keeping the tail straight. You'll need symmetrical FG or CF blades, alu swash, thrust bearings.. Carlo, I'm glad you liked the video. Yes the Aerofly Pro simulator has given me the confidence to bring my heli lower . I'm telling you in only 1 week of practice I saw tremendous improvement. My best purchase yet.The climbing is good with my Eco8, but I'm dying to switch out my 18S for the 11L!! Hopefully it will elminate a little bit of bogging I get at the extremes. Hey, I'd love to see some videfootage of yours, let me know whenever you post one. Later! Chachin.. |
