Looking for ~40" WS Low Wing Full Fuselage Plans

Howdy:

Y'all know of any good plans with the following characteristics:

* 40" wingspan or so. A little +/- is OK
* Low wing
* Landing gear, preferably tail dragger.
* Tractor motor
* Motor size in the 480 range, ~1000kv
* Warbird-like handling.

I have been flying so many planes without landing gear I realize I have lost the ability to land a plane with trike gear or a tail dragger consistently in our grass field. Found out the hard way when I was flying my PZ T28. I want something I can practice my landing on a semi-rough grass field and not cry if I make sweet, sweet, aviator love to the canine on landing. Other characteristics are negotiable.

Any one of tony65x55 warbirds should fit that criteria - BluHurri (Hurricane), ME109, or P40. I built the P40 and with the right motor it flys like a warbird. They are all tail draggers. His Piranha is a similar size and more acrobatic plane. Check out the Tony55x65 plane thread. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ight=tony65x55

My Mooney Mite is 40" span but tricycle gear

Gene Bond and GPW have some nice designs too. Gene's Blu-51 is a classic. Slightly smaller than 40" - more like 36".

Ken's SEMFF combat planes are well worth a look. He has about 30 or so designs. You can scale them up to get 40" as they come in around 32".

Hello
I been looking at this mini Hog you can make it the size you want. I plan on using a Arim wing for mine 40 to 42" wing. just build a box fuse and sand to shape out of foam.
