Loving the size and flight characteristics of the tri-mini i decided to design one out of G-10 with easily replaceable arms, that can also be rotated into a T-copter also.

it accommodates a Go-Pro on the top an will use Align250 or 450 Landing gear.

pivot boom will be delrin bushings mounted to the bottom mainframe.

Looking good Doug! would sheet stock 11.5x 8.5 be wide/long enough to cut the center plate and arms from? I know you would need several sheets, you can get this size in Toxic Green

The main frame is what takes all the space with any of them i guess-

I'm a sucker for these things. A green Tri-Frog would be cool...a nice match for the florescent orange Hex-mini. Let me know when you're ready to produce/sell these.

Truth be told, John flies like a little sissy girl. You can't beat something up if you never get more than a few inces above the tall, cushiony grass. Yeah, that's it. And for me....well...I push my toys, I make them fly like they didn't know they could. Of course that leads to some oops moments from time to time!!!

Okay, truth be told, John does stuff I'd never dream of. I'd like to try some of his 'stunts' but then I'd only break more than I already have. I've got a long way to go to (try and) catch up to John's flying. I'm sure he'll be glad to see what the Frog can do too!!!

I really do my level best at trying to crash and break stuff...I just fail miserably more often than not

I do kinda take it easy on the Trimini, I don't do "eye level" flips like I do with some of my other multi's.... I enjoy flying the Trimini so I don't risk it below 15ft

I've really been lucky with my crashes and have done a fairly good job of making my aggressive flying frames less prone to breaking the important stuff.
Lee watched me pile in my MX400 or as I call it the "fang" frame HARD after a FAST flip went horribly wrong... because I had placed some nylon screws in key places that crash cost me a few props and 3 nylon screws... without these well placed weak points(nylon screws) I'm sure I would have been replacing two arms and maybe a center plate in that crash

Lee, I really hope to get the chance of tossing one of these around in the air I'll let you handle the "durability" testing
