There's been alot of wind lately, so I had to do it... Some serious downwind speed and sketchy at times, but living in Saskatchewan I better be able to fly in wind..

"Loiter" mode test from 5:47 to 6:41

FPV 21.10.2012 Windier! Some sketchy moments... (7 min 12 sec)

Whats the problem? Did you cover your baro sensor with something to protect it from wind/light? make sure to not cover the tiny holes on it.

Before I covered mine with some hollowed out dense soft foam mine was up and down like crazy when the sun hit it.

Only applies if you are using alt hold mode, which makes a huge difference

Are you flying your fpv videos with alt hold?

I find it hard to keep a constant altitude flying fpv without altitude hold.im always correcting up and down an up and down. Flying los is easier at this point. Hopefully it get easier with practice.

Yes I fly with alt hode mode until I land, to adjust altitude with alt hode mode on, just push the stick up or down.

I find it way easier to fly FPV!

I think my FPV season days are numbered though, winter is fast approaching and I'm not much of an outdoor winter guy...

in alt hold mode, my throttle stick doesnt do much at all except for when its almost at the top or almost at the bottom of the range. if i move it up the quad shoots up quite fast until i move the stick back down. Not a gradual altitude adjustment at all. similar if i bring the stick down, shoots down quickly until i center the stick. does yours behave similarly or is it more linear? i wonder if this is a settings thing...

in alt hold mode:
0-10% throttle = shoot down.
10-90% throttle = do nothing, alt hold.
90-100% throttle = shoot up.

I find in alt hold mode, I have to move the stick all up or all down to go up or down, then center stick at the desired height.. There is a dead zone in the middle.

I don't know how MPNG handles the sonar yet, I'll install it tonight or tomorrow and hopefully test it out this weekend if the weather breaks.

Yeah, FPV is easier with alt hold. Congrats on your FPV! any videos yet?

Oh yeah the 3... anyone using one yet? Would like to know how well they work at sunset... I can't see anything with my older hero if I fly at dusk.
