Great to hear you had a sucessful maiden, they always get my heart rate up, especially when you put a lot of time and money into the project. How did you like the DLE30? I have two and they ran perfect straight out of the box without any adjustment. The mean green machine looks great in your photos. DG

O boy thats great to hear. I hope you get some more time to fly her.
I think this plane does the best hammer heads I've ever seen as well as flatspins.
I hope to hear more about your flights.

i was thinking that she was going to land hot after talking to a few on here, but she floated in....

all i got was one flight in before it started getting dark, so i am hoping we have some good weather this weekend....can not wait to put this plane through its paces..
What is your impression of the landing gear on der MX? Is it soft and tends to squat easy?

Mine is some what soft. Though it bends back rather easy and I'm sure there have been times I would of destroyed a carbon fiber landing gear.

ya the gear is pretty soft....a landing that has some bounce in it will bend it and spread the gear....

Looks like Azaero dropped the price to $235 shipped! Very tempting but I'd needed to be able to fit a canister. The local club has really gotten tight about keeping noise levels down

Nevermind, I found their website, wish they had the EG models in stock, look to be an upgrade to the Slipstream. The SS MXS is very tempting at $235 shipped, but I've read that hard 3d can bend the alum wing tubes. Kerwin50, did you replace yours with CF? If not, any issues the the wing tube?
